What is Realstoriz?

Realstoriz is a place where people can share real-life stories with everyone. We believe that we all had moments in our lives that could not be captured on video, but deserve to be shared with others, and now you can do it on Realstoriz! The site's goal is to eventually become the largest collection of real-life stories on the web and to have stories for everyone's tastes and enjoyment.

What are the stories about?

All real-life stories are welcome here. Stories about what happened to you, your relatives, friends, unknown people. Stories may be of any type: cool, funny, sad, scary, freaky, inspirational, smart, stupid, horrible, interesting, boring, etc.

Any subjects are welcome: kids, animals, travel, sports, college, dating, music, money, movies, war, celebrities, history, nature, business, politics, cars, career, technology, Internet, health, school, food, parents, in-laws, relatives, neighbours, shopping, fashion – you name it!

You can attach up to three photos - along with short comments - to your story.

What can I do on the site?

On the site, you can do many things: vote for stories you liked, leave comments, email stories right from the site, get direct links to them, bookmark stories on other sites like Facebook, MySpace, Digg, etc.

Also, for a convenient browsing through the stories, you can filter them from a specific date or range of dates.

The site structure is extremely simple, yet it offers most functionalities that a story reader would expect from such a site.

How is the site structured?

Realstoriz is at its opening stage and will develop according to its visitors’ interests. More interesting things and features are currently being created and will become available soon.

At this stage, it has three main categories of stories and story contributors will decide in what category they should place their stories. As the site will grow, more categories and/or subcategories will become available.

Why would I leave my story on this site?

You already share your stories with the people you know. Why not share them with the whole world? Sharing stories is one of the oldest forms of entertainment and now you can do it online - on Realstoriz! They will live on the site and others will learn about your experiences – just make sure the stories are interesting for everyone. Plus, the site is free to use and you do not require a user ID to post stories here. Moreover (see Commercial terms in Terms of Use), any money the site will receive from other companies for the rights to reproduce your story will be shared with you. And finally, you will contribute to a new way of keeping the history of our times for future generations – through stories from your life. Start it here and now!
